Heart-felt gratitude to those who journeyed this far with Yessera.  And joyful welcome to those caring and passionate about the welbeing and development of the youth of our world.

After successfully completing 2 years of training of 31 destitute young women, in various fields, from Addis Ababa as its Yessera 2014, and Yessera 2015 project, Yessera is now happily resuming its 4 Corners of Ethiopia.

After successfully completing 2 years of training of 31 destitute young women, in various fields, from Addis Ababa as its Yessera 2014, and Yessera 2015 project, Yessera is now happily resuming its 4 Corners of Ethiopia.

Once again Yessera has been fortunate, in its quest to draw together, into a synergy of creative know-how, people of long standing dedication, and deep-rooted concern for Ethiopia, its wellbeing and further development.

Hear and see for yourself what motivates us to create this organization and hopefuly you too will share the vision and join hands with us.

YESSERA is overseen by a United States and Ethiopian-based Board of Directors, with programs managed by Mr. Solomon Retta in Addis Ababa. YESSERA will be scaling up its services during 2013 and 2014 to reach more communities, more young leaders, and their emerging enterprises.

From time to time YESSERA has been fortunate to have received the encouragement, support and tangible contributions of significant, professional members of the Diaspora and those at home in Ethiopia.

After years of going around the four corners of Ethiopia (Hawassa, Bekoji, Debre Birhan, Assosa, Ebinat, Metu, Bonga), Yessera‘s focus is Addis Ababa this year.

Almost every aspect of Yessera is now in a widening, heightening, deepening mode. All invited to this multidimensional adventure.

Two YESSERA trainees attending carpentry training had bamboo product making skills.  They trained eight other students and together they started selling them in order to make a living.
